The Decolonial Europe Day initiative was launched in 2023 by a small group of people in collaboration with several civil society organisations and pre-existing decolonising initiatives. As of January 2025, the Decolonial Europe Day ceased to exist as a self-standing initiative, but is embedded in the work of the newly founded Decolonial Europe Collective. This website will be updated accordingly in the months to come.
